BioI've decided that having a Geek Code and a math joke lead into my bio is kind of gauche, so it's gone now.
I'm a 25-year-old software engineer for IBM and (as of June 2008) a Ph.D. student in Computer Science, having sacrificed a year and change of my life to the dark abyss that is government contracts, and I'm very happy with the change. I'm also very displaced from my northeastern roots in Pennsylvania and New York, but the DC area has shown itself to be close enough to the style that I haven't hit too many bumps.
